Engage

The Financial Planning process starts with an Engagement Meeting. During the engagement meeting, the advisor will gather information regarding the client’s wants, needs and goals as well as establish the type of relationship they will foster with the client.

Assess

During the Data Gathering Meeting, the advisor will have a deeper conversation to gain a full understanding of the client’s financial situation and goals are developed and reinforced. The advisor then analyzes the data and develops recommendations.

Execute*

During the Plan Presentation step, the advisor reviews the plan and provides initial written recommendations, followed by the execution of agreed upon strategies and product implementation*. 

*Implementation, which involves purchasing products and services, is separate and distinct from the financial planning services. Clients can, but are under no obligation to, implement the advice through us, our affliates or an unaffliated financial institution of client’s choice. Implementation of the financial planning advices is achieved through a separate relationship with the client. NOTE: Financial planning services are offered only through approved Financial Planners of MML Investors Services, LLC.
